Allie HuddlestonAllie is a graduate from UIC who majored in Applied Psychology with a minor in Business Administration. Along with her involvement in the organization, she was an active research assistant and member of three honor societies. Being from a smaller town farther away, she found fulfillment in venturing the city, developing her personality, and embracing her independence. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, eating sushi, discovering new music, and practicing Krav Maga. Since graduating early in December, she plans to volunteer at a Domestic Violence Center in the Spring and attend graduate school in the Fall.

Michael AmayaMichael is a graduate from UIC. He majored in Gender & Women’s Studies, with a focus in LGBTQ+ studies, and minored in Psychology. Outside of school and work some of his interests include music, drag queens, kickboxing, baking, and watching way too many shows on The Food Network. Upon graduation his career plans are in the field of social work and continuing his educational endeavors by attending graduate school. Although his bio is not a interesting as his fellow Feels Trip staff members his mom tells him he “is beautiful on the inside and that’s all that matters”.

Pearl ShinPearl is a recent UIC grad. She majored in English, with a concentration in media, rhetoric, and cultural studies, and minored in political science and philosophy. Outside of her studies, her interests include music, writing, art, photography, broadcasting, and venturing outside of her comfort zone. When she wasn't juggling classes and working as the Station Manager of UIC Radio, she hosted her own weekly radio shows on uicradio.org. She was also a blogger for UIC News and a peer tutor at the UIC Writing Center. Now that she graduated, she hopes to pursue a career in journalism, entertainment writing, broadcasting, photography, counseling, or public relations, and plans on eventually attending graduate school.

Sarah HernandezSarah Gabriella Hernandez is a graduate student in the Community and Prevention Research division of Psychology. She works as a program coordinator for the UIC Heritage Garden program, a Teaching Assistant in Psychology, and a Research Assistant for a Community Health Assessment project in Little Village, directed by folks in the School of Public Health. Aside from working too much, she's pretty active with urban agriculture in Chicago and social justice initiatives in Little Village. Also, she loves music, anime, video games, and is a hermit at heart.

Tom PerkinsTom is an graduate student who studied applied psychology at UIC. Besides psychology, Tom is passionate about music and loves to sing. He loves a wide range of music and is willing to give any artist a listen at least once. He hopes that the Feels Trip podcast will become widespread and touch the hearts of many listeners; both at UIC and beyond, as well as give a platform to UIC students who want to be heard and share their opinions. Tom graduates spring 2018 and hopes to still be a part of the work that is being done any way that he can.
